12.90 Mercedes Benz 500SL
Still a hot lady. SOLD NEW FOR $83,500. 1990 Mercedes Benz 500SL convertible. The value of this car has trended upwards in the past three years. The car is registered and licensed as an antique. 5.0L V8 DOHC 32V 8 cyl gas engine. 4 speed automatic transmission. AC Climate control (not charged). Headlight wipers. Cruise. Power Steering. Power windows. Adjustable steering wheel. Power locks. Power seats. Memory seats both sides. Dual air bags. Soft top with removeable aluminum hard top. Power sports bar. Bra (to cover lower bumper curb rash) and rear view mirror covers (to cover pealing clear coat). Nice Interstate battery (2017) with 6 year warranty. New Yokohama YK740 GTX Tires 225/55R16. New clear turn signal lenses. 2 new fuel filters. New air cleaner. New oil filter and oil. All new fluids. New main hoses on engine. New serpentine belt and belt tensioner. New water pump. New Alpine radio ($350 receipt). Even have the original Mercedes Benz first aid kit! The R129 design has a state-of-the-art (at that time) adjustable sport-luxury suspension and all new chassis design. Twin A-arm front and fully independent multi link rear suspension, four wheel disc brakes, and a complete unibody chassis. Automatic roll bar is designed to extend in the event of a rollover accident. The hard top headliner is intact but was loose and re-glued. The body is in very good shape. However, the paint is in used condition, considering all the scratches on the hood, top, and trunk lid. Apparently, stuff was placed on it during storage and many scratches are visable. Does look great from the curb though! Car sold originally locally. My son-in-law ) owned it from 2003 to 2005. He sold it to my brother-in -law and it was shipped to Las Vegas, Nevada where it sat in his garage for over 10 years. He sold it back to my son-in-law in 2017. In the past 15 years it has had less than 40 miles driven on it. I restored it for my son-in-law and start it at least once a month to keep it fresh.$10,950
